Deposit

Unborn - A non-refundable $100 deposit.  

Kid/Adult - A non-refundable deposit of half the purchase price.

The above deposits will hold the animal until you make transport arrangements within 7  days of purchase, or 7 days of weaning date (aprox 6-8 weeks after birth), if applicable. If no Doe / Buck kid is had by your chosen Doe the deposit will be applied, if possible, to purchase a kid from another Doe, at new Does reserve price,.  A $2.50 per day boarding fee will be applied If we have to hold an animal for more than the time specified.  We reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time for any reason prior to pick up.

Health

Please check with your state as to the required health tests that may be required.  We would be glad to have the tests run, however, you would be required to pay for them in advance. We can give you a cost estimate, if you would like one. Animals may need to have health certificates. Health certificates are $25.00 each, at buyers expense. It is a good way for you to be sure your animal is healthy when it leaves our farm.

Shipping

Transporting the animal is up to the buyer.  We can make arrangements, when requested.

Driving - We can deliver or meet part way, within a reasonable driving distance.  There may be a reasonable fee to cover fuel costs.

Flying – The buyer is responsible for paying for air fare, the pet carrier, and health certificates.   We can check which local airlines will transport animals, and can help with making arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate the arrangements, but we would appreciate a choice as to what day and time is good for us to take the animal to the airport.  The local airports are Ft Smith, AR and Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.

Shipping Age
All kids must be two months old and weaned to ship via air transport. You may have them sooner if you pick them up.

Purchasing Kids/Goats

Shiloh Mtn Farm retains the right to issue ‘doe only’ service memos on any or all bred does sold, at our discretion. We ONLY allow exceptional bucks from exceptional dams to proudly carry our herd name.

Should the need arise to cancel the sale on our part, if possible, we will give proper notice before doing so,  You will have the option to get a full refund or we can transfer your deposit to another sale animal of your choosing at their sale price.  If you should cancel, there will be NO refund; however, the deposit may be applied to the purchase price another animal, if available, and at our discretion.

Payment must be made in full before any animal leaves our  farm.  In addition, they will only leave when we believe  they are ready to do so.  This is to not only protect  both you and us, but to protect the animal as well.

Leaving home can be a stressful on kids.  They handle stress by getting diarrhea, sniffles, and sometimes coughs.  They need support to get through this time period.  You should keep products on hand for the problems your kid may face.  The kid will be given a CDT short.  The kid will also be disbudded before delivery.
